Volunteer

Volunteers have always been an important part of the Kings Art Center's success

Help continue this tradition with a contribution of your time and talent.


Art in the Community Crew – mat, frame and hang children’s art in local hospitals and offices.

 

Art classroom assistants - assist with classroom activities.

 

Art Hop/Opening Receptions - assist with reception set-up, serving and clean-up.

 

Committees - If you would like to become more involved with your art center, consider volunteering for the Fund Development, Exhibition, Membership or a special event committee.  

 

Exhibition Crew – work with the curator to prepare the gallery, install/hang artwork and other tasks critical to each exhibition.

 

Facebook Monitor- Update the KAC Facebook page on a regular basis.

 

Gallery Sitter/Docent – greet visitors, share information about the exhibit and the art center.  Training provided. 

 

 

Permanent Collection Cataloging – update permanent collection electronic files.

 

Models for Life Drawing Class – models are clothed and hold comfortable poses for 15-20 minutes. Thursdays 7:00-8:30pm.

Newsletter Editor/Writers – coordinate or assist with the writing and production of the KAC Sketches Members Newsletter.

Online Community Calendar – electronically update local online community calendars with KAC events.
